What's the connection among these two shows and land surveying??

There is a distinct correlation between Greys Anatomy, Little House On the Prairie, and Land Surveying. Please identify what this correlation is, in detail. First one to answer it 100% correct wins a koozie package from your friends here at Beerleg.com. 🙂

Is it something to do with Laura Ingalls Wilder's home being called the "Surveyor's House"? That is the only thing I can relate Little House on the Prairie to other than the fact it was basically about homesteaders I think.

Good guess but no, that isn't it. We had a contest on that very topic, actually, last month. This one is a whole new connection. 🙂

Pamela Roylance is my guess. She was on both TV shows and her husband on LHOTP fought the railroad surveyor who was bullying Walnut Grove.

I'll guess that someone in her real family is or was a surveyor.

This may not be the correct answer:

There is a distinct correlation between Greys Anatomy, Ya gonna loose yo ___, or some other important body part(s).
Little House On the Prairie, Gonna be embarrasing, and some pretty little lass is gonna see the event.
and Land Surveying. Because the Persons involved, will be trying to survey

I conclude that a surveyor was climbing over a fence, fell on his anotomical parts, and Laura saw it.

May not be correct, but makes sense to me!

Pamela Roylance also appeared in an episode of McGyver. In a different episode, McGyver was working as a surveyor in Alaska.

Once upon a time there was a vast open prairie. The government caused the land to be surveyed for sale to the public.

Someone bought 40 acres of prairie land from the government and built a little house on it.

Years later the nearby town grew and expanded eventually annexing the little house on the prairie. The homesteader sold to a developer who caused the little house to be torn down and the prairie land to be surveyed and carved into lots.

Sometime later, a hospital was built on some of those lots. Greys Anatomy is a television show :tv: about doctors in a hospital.
