My wife and I are in Buffalo (actually Tonawanda), New York for Thanksgiving and we thought maybe it might be nice to get together with some of the local surveyors. Is there any interest? Are there any particular dates and times that would work for anyone? We're tentatively thinking the Saturday after Thanksgiving, maybe in the evening, so we can grab some beers and maybe a snack. But we are open to other ideas. Monday, December 2 would likely be the last day we could meet before we head home.

Had me for a second.?ÿ Then you added........New York.

Buffalo is a bit more than 30 miles from here but it sure ain't the one in New York.

A few years back we had a poster here who worked for a giant landfill not too far east of Buffalo.?ÿ Forgot his name but he was a nice guy.

Wendell,

I'm getting ready to go that direction myself, for an overnight. I'm flying the drone on projects in Buffalo, Tonawanda and Niaraga Falls on 11/24 and 11/26.

Are you free on Monday evening (11/25)?

I am in for a Beerlegger. Monday works, or really any evening except for Thanksgiving.

@wendell

If you are in the City of Tonawanda, Mooney's sports tavern would be good. Right downtown, several other places within walking distance also.

Remington's is an option also, that is a little more upscale.

That works for me. Now we just need to hear from Lee Green and figure out a good time for all of us. Since you are probably both working, I'm assuming 6pm or later?

We just got back to the house a little bit ago. It was a great time! It was nice listening to the surveying stories again.

I dunno just how much of their identities they want out there, so, from left to right: @wendell, @noodles, Jim, Ken, @scotty370, and @klsnbms.

Sorry we missed you Mr. Green, maybe we can still set something up before we leave town!

@wendell

Sorry I could not make it. I had to process some data and put out a few fires. The troubles of working as a solo surveyor.

This afternoon may work better for me. I'll be in Niagara Falls working this morning and head back through Tonawanda on way home. I'm not much of a late person, nor a drinker. Usually sleeping by 8 -9 pm, and up ate 4am.
