Folks,
I notice that there are massive postings here that declare the serial numbers of stolen units from all over the place. I am curious if anyone has created a searchable database that could be referenced. Being in a position to view and record the serial numbers of many instruments, I think there is opportunity here to pitch in. While I know it would truly be a shot in the dark, I wouldn't at all mind checking the serial numbers of any units that come through my shop. I'm not sure where the liability would land, but I'm sure that could be sorted out as needed. I am not exactly savvy at the building of a database, so I can't volunteer to build one. However, if one does exist, and stays updated...I would utilize it. Thoughts?

I only think the serial numbers get flagged once rhere reported stolen to the polices database dont know if its public I buy and sell almost all of my gear used you jist have to be cautious of who u are buying from or sellimg too ussually if a price is to good to be true it ussually is lol good sign it HOTTT!!
