Hello there. Iƒ??m Rick and live in Houston these days. Started surveying back in the 00ƒ??s as a Rodman when I needed a job taking a break from college. Ended up staying in it and changing my major to pursue surveying as a professional. Currently licensed in Texas and Louisiana and work on mostly energy focused projects. Iƒ??ve browsed this site for years but hope to engage more.

Welcome! As a PLSS guy, I have always been impressed with what Texas land surveyors can do. This is a great site.

You will enjoy the experience and knowledge of participating here for years to come.?ÿ Do not have any fear of posting a new topic or commenting on a thread of messages.?ÿ We all grow as we participate here.

BTW, old people, such as friends of my grandmother, who lived through the period of 1900-1909 referred to those years as "the oughts"?ÿ as in 19-ought-4.?ÿ Knew a fellow who was born on January 1, 1900.?ÿ He could rattle of his precise age, to the day, to impress people who might ask his age.
