I've been surveying for 20 years, and constantly learning. I currently use Leica Viva and Infinity.?ÿ I have faith in the field equipment, but have found that it isn't easy to find solid answers to technical questions for the Infinity side of things.?ÿ Sales reps. have been helpful, and Infinity is improving with each new version, but I must admit I have as many questions as answers.?ÿ This site was recommended by another surveyor, who is using some older Leica gear. Glad to be on-board.?ÿ ?ÿHoping to learn and share.

Greetings and welcome. I can't comment on Leica Infinity software, as your post is the first I've ever heard of it. My company also uses Leica equipment, but we use Carlson Survey on our desktop computers. Spend much time on this message board, and you will find great enthusiasm for Carlson software. Their customer service is the best you will find for a complex surveying and engineering program. If you can't find the answer to your question on this forum (highly active), or Carlson's own message board (a bit of a ghost town), then you can always email them questions, and they get right back to you.
Leica offers virtual classroom courses. It looks like they offer a course on Infinity. May be worth checking out if you are looking for a general overview on the software.
