Good Morning!
I currently live and have always called Northern California my home, although I didn't always reside here while in the military which I retired from after 32 years.?ÿ I am a California registered Civil Engineer, registered in 1980, and as a result am a 'grandfathered-in' surveyor capable of performing surveys and preparing maps.?ÿ?ÿ As part of my after retirement work plan I have a small CA DVBE company (MCM and Associates) that primarily performs topographic surveys associated with site and grading plans for home owners and small commercial projects.
Until recently all topographical surveys were performed using conventional methods (Total Station & prism), however, I have recently stepped into the GPS/RTK world with the EMLID Reach RS2 devices.?ÿ I am on a steep learning curve and plan on seeking 'constructive' help as the "FNG" (my military service had a specific definition for that abbreviation).
Thanks for this site and look forward to providing as well as receiving some of your expertise on specific areas.
