Hey,
Its nice to see so many folks interested in surveying and looking to others for methods and info I'm an instructor with the UBC and have been teaching construction stake out for nearly 20 yrs There has been many new instruments or should I say improvements to instruments in this time but the trade has been reluctant to opt in until recently I have been teaching total station to Carpenters who do most of the layout in this region I now have been tasked with writing robotic total station curriculum for our region I hope I'm up to the task and hope to glean a bit of info from the many experts on the forums here?ÿ
Best Regards to all,
Ed Woodrum

Howdy Ed, I appreciate those that have the patience to teach people that can't understand what they read.
The way I remember how it happened was that the boss would bring in a new box of toys and their manuals, it was crunch time for everyone.
