Keep in mind that according to the BOR that the experience they want to see is that in land surveying under a Texas RPLS.

Anything else is to put groceries on your table and will probably not count toward the license exam.

Attend as many different subject seminars as you can to rub elbows with licensed surveyors and to grasp the little details that are told by the experienced presenters.

Remember that we with a license have a life after work and with most mentors, the knowledge leaks out a little at a time to assure that the crew knows the agenda for the day.
