New Posts just doesn't cut it.

Well.........................there it is in an entirely new location. No wondered I couldn't find it. Sort of like lookin' fer your shorts in the bra drawer. Don't ask me how I know.
Wait a minute. Now it was gone again. The right side was missing an inch or so of information including the Recent Posts option.
Apparently you have to go to New Posts to be able to see Recent Posts.
Yup. That's it. If you post a message, then scroll up, Recent Posts isn't there.
The recent button takes me to the rplstoday.com home page...
Figure it will take me awhile to shake my BeerLeg and make the correct Connect.

Not only did it move, but the Recent Posts link at the bottom right of the page takes you back to SurveyorConnect.
Recent Posts makes my personal navigational experience thru this site interesting.
Without it, I find navigating this site tedious and it takes time away from my real purpose, work.
I would like to see a Recent posts link on every page........

Whoops! After dotting every i and crossing every t, I still missed a couple of the minute details. Thanks for catching that! Recent Posts has returned to the top navigation menu and the link in the footer has been corrected. When all else fails, you can always visit the New Posts page, then click the Recent Posts link there. It's an extra click, but you can still get there.

When you think about the hierarchy of the navigation system, it actually makes organizational sense to have it in the submenu with the other post-related links. That's the main reason I moved it there. 🙂

Ok, so maybe I'm a bit slow.... but what exactly is the difference between "NEW" and "Recent" posts???
New is the chronological order of when new threads have been introduced since your last visit. Recent is the uptodate how have they been commented upon. The idea being to keep up with the pace, not simply know a new thread was added yesterday.
The other thing that happens is that now when you make a comment or someone else has also commented on a thread while going through the Recent Posts list what you see never changes. You must now go back to New Posts, then Recent Posts again to find the updates.
