That floating ad. Glad you have the revenue, but what a pain in the ass to see.
Park it.
Floating ad?
> Park it.
Wow. Sorry my Independence Day message caused you so much harm. I'll attempt to be more considerate in the future.
Huh?
BTW, like the flag around the logo.
What floating ad?
Wow!
Five whole people signed in at the moment! Or maybe that's 4 and two half-people.

It was annoying but bearable. Give advertisers an unobstructed location.

The Floating Ad Was Visible Last Night
"Float" whatever, wherever, whenever, whoever you want, Wendell......there's too much crap going on in the world now to worry about such trivial crap....
Thanks for your snide comment. It wasn't your 4th of July message. It was an advertisement that floated in the middle of the screen. I thought it would pop up and fade. It just stayed there. If it was on my side, you have my apology.

That was my idea. 🙂

You are quite welcome. I suppose I could have taken the high road, but your initial snide remark is what set me off. The only thing I can think of is that the Independence Day image I added was causing the ad to "float" in your browser. I tested it under the 3 most recent versions of the popular browsers and saw no problems, so I left it.
An initial friendly report of the problem would have resulted in me bending over backwards to make it right, as I would normally do in a case where I have the option and/or capabilities to do so. Telling me it's a "pain in the ass" and instructing me to "park it" are not comments that I would consider to be friendly modes of communication.
> BTW, like the flag around the logo.
Thank you. 🙂
The Floating Ad Was Visible Last Night
Well, apparently a couple of people had the problem. It was the temporary Independence Day image that I added that caused the problem, apparently. I was simply trying to be patriotic and honor the country that I live in and love. The apparent problem would have disappeared tomorrow morning.
The Floating Ad Was Visible Last Night
I knew something was up....
I saw the add last night. It wasn't floating, just there centered and about 1/3 down from top of screen somewhat translucent and covering some text.
Was not floating probably because of my download packets bursting on their way here. If I had stayed on that page long enough it would have floated.
