After all the heat Wendell has taken I am surprised he hasn't posted more. Maybe if people would stop taking up for Ted, Wendell would be able to let it go as well. I find it shocking that anyone thinks that anything whatsoever involving Hitler is funny, and even more shocking that they would express it in a public forum. This really disturbs me - these folks obviously have no idea what he did, condoned, and stood for. Expressing comments like that in Germany could easily result in a prison sentence. It is really astounding how badly people abuse freedom..

I am well aware of TDD's abrasive posts and his ability to rub a lot of people the wrong way, but when he engaged in surveying topics he actually seemed like someone I would want on my team if sides had to be chosen on ability and not personality. The personality aspect, however, is what often makes a team work.

Man...I wish we could. I wish we could post all of the crap WITH the perpetrators names for all to see because I would SO love for you guys to see who these idiots are. You guys would be shocked as to who some of these guys are. :-O They do NOT want to be "outed". Trust me. 😐
Unfortunately, if we mentioned exact "names" it could "harm their business and professional reputation and cause a devastating loss of work and income" and they could turn around and try to sue us for their "losses" because the threats that they actually made were through "private outlets" and not on a public forum. So...that's one of the reasons why we aren't allowed to name specific names.
However, if they post it on the forum here we can now leave it up for all to see!! B-)

not that at all. believe me, I know what it's like to have a bulls-eye on your backside at every turn. I just hate to see good people stoop to the level of the poor behavior of others. sometimes a reality check by friends reminds us of who we really are and not what our impulses might drive us to become in tough situations.
I hate to speak on Jud's behalf, but I think that's what he was suggesting too. I don't mean to come into another man's "house" and crap on the floor. sorry if that's what it seemed like. I just think Wendell is above this.
