It's sad that anyone feels the need to teach a class about being nice and respectful.

However, I'm starting to understand more and more the need for it.
It is something that has always needed to be taught. Left to themselves most people would act with the civility of a 2 year old. It is a shame that it is being taught in college VS. being taught at home like it was when I was young. Sometimes we all need a refresher course.
🙁
It used to be called "parenting" and was taught in the home and (I know, I know, GASP!!!) in the churches on Sunday.
It (the decline in civility and professionalism) has been happening for many years and will continue for many more.
Well said.
:good:
We do not need to always agree, but, we should always be able to express our disagreement in a civil manner. Proper parenting and role models are where it all begins. What we view as "normal" leads us to behave "normally".
oh yeah?
cause your mother smells of elderberries.:-)
oh yeah?
Yeah, and your mom's a good kisser, too.
These kids these days.....
Really. There weren't bullies, rip-offs, and jerks back in the day? Maybe it's about time; but it's also like a surveying seminar. Mainly the people who don't really need it are the ones that attend.

Yes there were. But usually the bullies got the crap beat out of them. We didn't get them all but we got alot. My motto was/is: "Someday, you won't know where, you won't know when, you will come around a corner and I will be there."
oh yeah?
