I have added rplstoday.com to the whitepages for AdBlocker and there is now an ad appears on the top and bottom of the page.

Are there any more ads that would appear without an AdBlocker?

First of all, let me just say thank you for doing that.

Secondly, those are the only two you'll see at this time. There may be one added to the right column, and possibly some mixed into the News articles, but I'm undecided about those right now. I'm also thinking about adding a sponsors area at the very bottom, which would be a grid of sponsor logos that would be relatively inexpensive. Keep in mind that none of them would be too obstructive to the flow of the overall website. I would never want to make it cumbersome or difficult to read.

Thanks!

Anyway for someone that supports via Patreon and uses an adblocker to not see the nag notice at the top of the page? No big deal, just wondering. 🙂

You could dismiss the nag notice...

I keep getting the Adblocker detected red box message in Firefox, IE, and Chrome at the login page. As far as I can determine, I'm not running any adblocker. I've enabled 3rd party cookies with no change.

I see ads at the top and bottom so apparently if I have and adblocker running, it's not working.

Same here. I know we run a Barracuda filter but I'm not aware of an ad blocker and I see ads at the top and bottom of the page.

Me too. I never thought that I ever had any sort of "ad locker". If I really do, then (1) this is news to me, and (2) how do I turn it off?

I've seen the notice intermittently and guessed that it happened when the page didn't load as quickly as it was expected to.

same guess here. I've only seen it once and know that I don't have any adblockers.

I started seeing the adblocker notice today. All along I have been seeing the ads.

Maybe you should install an add blocker. I use one and haven't seen the notice.
