I collected a half-hour file late today (early 01/18 GPS time) to test a repaired receiver, but the file keeps bombing out in OPUS with "the dataset may be corrupt" messages. The RINEX file looks okay, at least at a brief glance.

When I look at the IGS precise ephemerides site, there's nothing posted since Tuesday's ultra-rapid file.

Am I the only one having this problem?

Have You Looked At The RINEX File ?

It is possible that it did not get a full new ephemeris.

Have you cleared the memory ?

Another possibility is that the screen was smashed by the former user in frustration that it was not working.

Several days are missing from IGS, but the ftp CORS site has 2 igu orbits at this time.

1/2 hour implies OPUS-RS which almost never happens on the same day. OPUS-RS needs good clean C1 and P2 data, which almost never happens on a cold start up. You probably have to delete the first 5 minutes of data, maybe more. Then you'll get a different abort message.
