I am using Trimble R-10s and after starting a survey I login to the WebGUI and under Receiver Configuration --> Tracking I can check the boxes to use Galileo E5-A and E5-B. I then see on my TSC3 that the receivers are now showing the E5/ALT as being tracked. I find that I have to do this every time I turn on the receivers. I have two questions 1) Does anyone know if there is a way to set this to always be on? 2) Does anyone know if the R10/TSC3 uses these additional frequencies in the solution? Thank you!

@keta-salmon This has long been an issue with me. I have brought the issue up with several different Trimble people. Access for some reason turns off a bunch of the signals. The only real answer I got was "saves power".

So, I never start a base or a static session with the data collector. I always use the web UI from my phone. If you do not connect access to a receiver, it will not reset the tracking. I usually use HERE position, but it is easy enough to edit the reference position after pressing HERE.

May seem like a hassle at first, but since I almost always do RTK over cell, not really a big deal. If I want to transmit over radio, I can just enable the radio in the webUI.
