Hi All,

I am just wondering if anyone here has used this and what they have to say about it.

Thanks,
Dave.

If you go for the repeater just make sure your current radios are the 915plus version. I have Hiperlite plus receivers purchased in Dec. 2004 right before they upgraded the radios. The repeater will not work with my 915 radios. Well as a repeater that is, it can be configured for send or receive as a 915, but it has to be a 915plus to work as a repeater.

That's looks like a good option also.

I have seen this High Gain Antenna set up on a 5 mile NYS Thruway projects with good results. Base was set in middle of the site, with 2.5 miles coverage in each direction.

The 2.5 miles in each direction, was that with the stock internal 1 watt 900mhz radios on the Topcon Hiper lite plus units?

This project was using both 915 and UHF radios from a single base. We setup a Topcon GB-1000 for a base with two external radios. The 915 was a Topcon RE-S1 radio which is only 1 watt. The antennas were 30ft above the ground.

Yes, I guess I would. I bought it on Ebay for $600.00 and I'd want to get the same for it. If you're interested you can email me at [email protected]

Has anyone used this radio antenna with Hiper lite + units?
http://www.gpac.biz/tophpst.html?gclid=Cj0KEQiA5K-kBRDZ9r71gOvlxOMBEiQAwkK52BYEF9nMyseGCH9jq5COQF8aOE6QQ9r5f4_HraE0MuAaAlua8P8HAQ

How do I determine is my Hiper's have the 915 mhz board?

Does anyone have a RE-S1 for sale?

I wound up buying one of those and put it on a 15' tall rod.

I have only used it a couple of times, mostly on tough sites. I can't say that I was overly impressed with the result but in all honesty i haven't given it a good test to ferret out its true enhancement.

I know this is an old post but do i have to purchase the $70 dollar top antenna? There are others available on ebay for like 49 dollars that say they work for topcon. I found another set for like $12.99 that has same connector and says 915mhz. Have u tried cheaper antennas before with any success. Thank you again sir.
