First post on the first day of being registered on here.
The GPS gear at the site I work at is the SPS985 with the Zephyr GNSS base station using the SPS855 radio. (An outcome of the guy doing the purchase being for a lack of better words, dumb, and the salesman selling us a bill of goods)
My question is whether I can use the gear to perform a static survey.

you need to have data logging enabled in both devices. this is not turned on in most cases as the SPS is construction equipment and you need to specify you want data logging when buying it. you can check the options from the web ui of both receivers
