I see 1 Glonass M launch and the launch of GPS 2 & 3 scheduled for this year. There are 22 Galileo sats and 2 yet in orbital testing, but no launches scheduled.

Two new GPSes will not increase the usable number of 31. The jump to 64 possible is not even talked about anymore. I see uncertainty in when WAAS L5 corrections will be up and running. So what we have now is what we have for the next year if we can get past the GPS week rollover,.

If my legacy equipment does not continue to work, I will have some long term strategic thinking to do on a short term budget.

Paul.?ÿ ?ÿSeems like the times are a changing.?ÿ ?ÿI was just checking my equipment.?ÿ ?ÿOne Trimble receiver will be okay (according to Trimble Support Note for the GPS Rollover).?ÿ ?ÿMy other unit that I am using for as a base I haven't been so lucky.?ÿ ?ÿWe didn't keep the maintenance contract after 2008 and now Trimble wants $600 so I can update it to the specs so it will work after the rollover.?ÿ ?ÿNot sure if I should try my luck and if it fails then look at my options.?ÿ ?ÿUGH!
