So the Trimble dealer in my area sells a thing called a bridge x.  Forgive my simple understanding but it's basically a box that you hang on the tripod that sends corrections from the base through cell towers rather than by radio.  I demo'd one for a week about a year and a half ago because I was having hellish radio interference problems in a certain area and it worked great.

I assume the other manufacturers have something similar but I don't know for sure.  My question is, and maybe jim.cox might have some insight on this-- does anyone know if it's possible, or if there is a plan to add to or replace the radios in receivers with this technology?  Specifically, I'm curious if this feature can be made internal on the receiver so we don't have to mess around with extra equipment, cables, etc.

Anyway, screwing around with radio traffic and external radios has gotten so tiresome and I'd love to see that nonsense go away.
