My SIT is in classes right now working on his degree and he was asked a question that I don't really know how to answer.?ÿ Basically he is given a set of grid coordinates from a 2011 and 2012 observation on a control point.?ÿ These match within a few hundreths of each other.?ÿ Then he is given an OPUS solution that gives UTM and State Plane (same zone) results, and the OPUS solution is about 800 feet off.?ÿ The magical question that I can't answer, is why?
