I want to implement a NTRIP services
in my local network. How do I prepare
a source table for the COR stations
making up the network.
2. When I connected the my Trimble NetR8 receiver
using Lefebure Ntrip server software, it was requesting
for MOUNT POINT. How do I identify it in the receiver to enable me
connect.
There should be menu for your RTK rover or base that will tell the unit to receive RTK information. If the setting that tells the unit to receive the information is not enabled then you will not be able to connect to your correction stations nor find the mount points. The mount point is the main server your GNSS unit will use for corrections when you are using RTK with no base, the mount point is your base. To find your mount points you will need to access the permanent reference network you plan on using and connect to it first, then you will find your mount points.
Thanks for your response !
I connected the NetR8 receiver via serial
connection to my laptop and the Lefebure Ntrip
server dictated the port No. but the mount-point field
is what I cannot complete correctly. I added the station ID (4 - character code)
but the ntrip server could not access it.
Hi gschrock ! thanks for taking time to analyse my issue
1. My situation is # 1, I have 6 COR stations one of it is
at the office. All sending data to a central server in the office.
I want to run a caster in the office PC with Lefebure caster software.
2. How do I connect the remaining 5 stations to the lefebure caster since it
has only mount point and serial port option at the server tab which I already
used to connect to the one (station) at the office.
