Hi All,

I do a reasonable amount of Static, Fast Static. Up until recently both units have been on Wooden Tripods. I am trying to lighten my load. As such I keep the Base on a Tripod but am looking to use a fixed Rod with a bipod or tripod for the Rover.

I use a Zephyr Antenna with a 4700 Receiver. I need to be able to attach the Receiver and the Battery (which is currently is currently housed in a TSC2 cover) to the rod.

Has anyone got any suggestions about mounting these to the Rod so that they do not just sit on the ground?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

Matt

Hi. Thanks for that. I do have a backpack that i sometimes use when I'm doing ppk but looking for an option when I'm doing fast static (typically 10 minutes observations).
