We could use a couple TSC2 batteries.?ÿ The one's we have barely last half a day anymore.
Please and Thank you.?ÿ?ÿ

No luck.
No luck.
Sorry about that, had receiver batteries on the brain...
The last one we bought (last year) was a used one that had been re-celled. Our dealer tells us he can no longer get them, and the best use of a TSC2 is to trade it in.
I have a brand new battery from a Ranger.?ÿ I bought it when?ÿmy Ranger was acting up but it turned out to be other issues so I upgraded?ÿto a TSC3 but still have the new battery.?ÿ If we can verify they are the same, I'll sell if for $50.?ÿ Comes with the charger also.

If the original poster does not want it and we can confirm the battery is the right one for the TSC2 I will take it.

How do we go about confirming that the Ranger battery works for a TSC2??ÿ I will start looking around.?ÿ We will definitely buy it.
The boxes those batteries came in were marked with the TDS designation, PN (Part Number) M890-0001-S (or something similar) with a sticker with the Trimble designation (PN 53701-00) stuck on when they went to the Trimble channel.?ÿ
There should also be a serial number something like SSF00001 or the like.?ÿ
If those things match up all should work fine.?ÿ
The previous models (which TDS called Ranger whatever and Trimble called TSCe) had completely different batteries with a wire pigtail.?ÿ
If the battery sisuland has is in the black plastic case with two screws to attach it to the data collector it almost certainly is the correct one for the TSC2.

You can try Kargo-Tech from Hong Kong.?ÿ They sell parts for a range of trimble equipment including the TSC2.
Their replacement battery for TSC2 costs US$199 plus postage.?ÿ
Apparently I can't read. I was thinking R8 batteries, not something for the TSC2. Whoops.
If I remember correctly, someone on this forum said that was able to find the replacement at Batteries Plus for $55.?ÿ
