A fellow surveyor has one for sale. It is a 3" instrument. Does anyone have any input as to the pros cons of this model. It is around 10 years old. l am just looking for a good little gun priced right. Nothing fancy.

A Topcon GTS-311 is actually a 2" instrument. Should have two-speed tangents and a strong EDM. It was a current model when I started selling surveying equipment in 1998.

The GTS-310 series in which the GTS-311 is included was replaced by the GTS-600 series in 1999. We still do not see many of these instruments offered for trade in and we sold a lot of that series.
