I lost one, so if anyone has an extra or one they are not using I could use an overlay for the HP48.
Negotations are welcome.
Thanks Scott.
Scott,
I still use mine on my 48, but I could scan it and send it to you as a PDF if that would help any at all.
You might try calling Hayes Instruments and see if they have one lying around.
Jimmy
I will e-mail these to you also. Found them on-line, hope they will help you get by?
I recently had to print a 48 overlay from a jpeg found on the internet. I went to a Blick art supply store that had a custom printing department, I found them to be much more enthusiastic about helping than would have expected at a typical print shop. When I figured the print size I just cropped out the tabs on the side that normally rest the overlay into the calculator and used tape instead. Printed on a film rather than paper and did the cutting with an exacto although they gentlemen at the print shop said they would do it for a hourly of like 25 or something.
Hopefully someone will just mail you a plastic one though.
Regards
If you can find a blank overlay and are still handy with a Leroy set, try making your own.
Back in the day when the hp-41 was the "desk-top" computer, a local surveyor wrote his own software called "Compaskeys". We made our own overlays to conform to his program.
Now , if you can find a set of pens that still work!!
