Looking for an older model Robotic Total Station and Controller that won't break the bank. I would consider an older model GPS as part of the package as well, just to be used for grid ties. I would like to start off doing lot surveys and build from there.
I live in the Raleigh/Durham area and would like to demo it before purchasing. I would be willing to travel 6 or so hours to make it happen.
Any help would be appreciated. Im not in a rush, just starting to look.
Hi Bobcat,
Are you a PLS? I am a solo surveyor in your area and have some extra equipment that I might be willing to part with. I don't have a robot that I can sell currently but have a rover, collector and some other equipment that may be available.
Ralphie,
I am a PLS, and would love to hear what you have. If I'm not interested at this time I may be interested in something else you're unloading down the line. It looks like you run SurvCE which I have experience with and have no problem with. I will send you a message.

I have a Leica 1203 robot with an allegro mx with radio pod that I have kinda been holding on to for no reason other than it was my first gun. I live about 3 hours West of Raliegh in Cleveland county.
If you're looking for an older Trimble model, you might want to consider this one:
The opening bid is pretty darn reasonable. The seller is a CA land surveyor and a good guy (we've met, though only briefly, though we're Facebook friends).
Still rockin a topcon 802 here in Charlotte. Bulletproof.
Hayes Instrument often has good selection of used/demo stuff.
They are very easy to work with.
If you get down this way, hit me up.
I appreciate all the help guys. Ill take a look into the options.
Ralphieboy I cant send messages yet, but was wondering about the assortment of equipment that you would be willing to sell.?ÿ I was hoping we could meet up sometime in the new year, I work out of Durham and could make it by sometime during lunch break.
