The school where I teach may have some things to sell in order for us to get some new GPS equipment. Here are a few pictures of what we have. We have several of the pieces from pictures 1-3 and just the one each of picture 4 and 5.

I am curious to what someone would pay for these. Not sure if they all still work but only one box had an indication that the instrument was "broken".

Thanks for any input or comments. Let me know if more pictures and information would be helpful.

These may have some sentimental value to former students, but beyond that the market is pretty soft at the moment. The level - $50-$100. The 2 transits - $200 each. The Wild and Kern - probably in the range of $500-$800.

Actually what you ought to do is take them to the next NCSS meeting and auction them to benefit the program or scholarship fund.

Have you tried contacting the instrument companies
to see if they would sponsor your school's
needs? I know they do sometimes. Actually a wise
move on their part.

Yes we have. As an educational institution we get a discount but it isn't free. We also have to jump through many hoops to get this done. Hopefully before the GNSS class starts we will have some equipment to actually use!
