I have a friend of mine that is retired due to age and health. He has 3 Locus Receivers in very good condition he wants to sell to someone who could use them. 3 years ago I would have bought them. But I hardly use the 3 units I own now. They are well kept, and in top working order.

Those are great Receivers for static work.

I had some of those years ago. Good receivers.

What does he want for them?

Jules J.

I would be interested in knowing more about these. Times are tough right now, but that sometimes is the best time to buy, also.

I THINK my email is in my profile.

thanx,

geezer

I'll vouch for the simplicity and accuracy of those Locus recievers. Three of them, a good robot, and you can survey anywhere totally solo. At least that's how I did it years ago in West MI. The landfills may not like all those D cell batteries, but they sure are easy on the surveyor.

Get 4 or more and you have a very productive herd, 6 in my pasture. When I had only three the, production was way down from today. I do live and work where I can leave then sitting almost everywhere all day. Get closer to the freeway or the towns up North and you need to be more selective on just where you choose to set them up in the morning and pick them up just before dark. Seems to be more people driving around the country just looking for an opportunity to steal something, so the natives do a good job of watching those who don't belong.

No, I expect a White House mandate to go to your local federal clinic to have their tracking and communication chip placed in your fore-head soon. I will become an instant outlaw.

Are you sure that ruby chip on the forehead isn't a tradition based on the origination of all the tech support staff required for management of said email systems, or would that be mismanagement? :-/

I agree. I would love to have something like that, but no money.
