Have a TOPCON HiPer+ L1 unit collecting some dust since WISCORS came online in my part of the country here in Wisconsin.
I purchased the unit new from Hayes late in 2007 for use as a third static base. The unit has spent its working life on a tripod, so cosmetically it is A1. Battery is fine, 8mb memory, Cinderella option for Glonass/L2 every other Tuesday, all cables, chargers and soft case.
What say you?
Trade you a Sokkia B20 level that has only been used 5 or so times. Its also from Hayes, but once we got a DNA, we shelved that as well.

That is tempting, but I have a C310 that is like new too. Although the B20 would be an upgrade...

How much might it cost to upgrade it to full RTK, L1-L2, and does it have an internal radio?

I received a quote yesterday of $3,250 for the OAF file to make it full L1/L2. The unit is as pictured on the TOPCON site link. No internal radio or antenna. I would assume that one could port out to an external radio via serial or USB? Could make a decent base unit, either static as is or potentially RTK?
