I'm looking for a used Getac 236 and a set of Parani radios to run my tcrp1205. Anyone have these items that they want to sell.
Planning on using Microsurvey Fieldgenius or Layout.

The best source for Parani products is direct from Sena Industrial:

Have you used a Getac 236 outside? If not, you may be disappointed with that choice. I own one and also have access to a CHC LT30 available. The LT30, while still being a relatively cheap unit, is much, much better for use in the sun. I was offered a new Getac 236 a couple months ago for $600 from a dealer who had a few. Email me if you're interested and I'll send you his contact information.

Haven't used anything except the leica RX1200 that came with the tcrp+ 1205 when I bought it used, and although the system lives up to its reputation , the Leica data collecting and layout software (as everybody knows who has used it) is quit cumbersome to use. I bought the whole setup with the intention of upgrading to newer software and the data collector. Not wanting to spend to much on an older system, I gathered the PS 236 was a reasonably prized DC that paired well with the 1205. I didn't know about the sunlight readability issue.

I agree with Dave about the poor readability with Getac PS236. Go for the 336 model if you can, besides the better screen it's also quite faster.
