I am taking the Utah State Specific exam in two weeks. I have found the study guide per ProV website HERE.?ÿ

I would appreciate any insight on exam. It is a good amount of information to work thru.

Was the exam open book? There seems to be conflicting guidance there.?ÿ

Thanks in advance for any help given here.?ÿ

Have a great day!!

I took the Utah exam in 1978, so anything I have to add is probably a bit outdated!

????

Were you able to find that study book? The link is dead on the Prov site

I am taking the same exam from Prov (via remote Proctor at office) and their info form is incorrect. I called and verified. Prov does not have a study guide or a practice exam for Utah in the bookstore. They also imply that is open book in that same info form- still trying to validate but my first inclination is that the answer is "no" .....

I called Prov again, and they said that you can bring a 3 ring binder of all the printed reference materials in that are listed in the study guide, but you cant use a computer to view them as PDF. you can tab each section for quicker reference.

Looking at taking the text this year and wanted to see if you guys took it and have any advise? Also, how did taking the test from your home computer workout?

It's a tough exam IMO. Lots of questions that arent about conventional surveying and several questions about specific details of the court cases.

Taking it from home was fine. It's just remotely proctored
