Glad I made the four hour trek from Steubenville. Best conference I've been to in a number of years. Well done Cincinnati and Southwest Chapters.

What is good about it? What is it that you like seeing there?
The classes mostly. There was a good selection of informative ones, rather the usual ones you seem to see year after year.
PLSO (OH) Conference 2013
I enjoyed it, even the classes.
Meant to say rather than the usual classes you see year after year
I like to go back and review the old annual reports of the Arkansas Society of Engineers, Architects, and Surveyors...see that they were talking about the same things we are today...
I'll bet the old "Ohio Society of Surveyors and Civil Engineers" reports are the same...Ohio Reports

The one I glanced at. a while back, mentioned 'Justice Cooley', I heard his name, more than once, the last few days.
Agreed.

I was only able to attend on Thurs but did enjoy Chris Kline's class. Familiar topics but well presented. I understand he had never given his class in Ohio and did months of case law research. His handout is also a great reference to loads of Ohio case law.
The issue of the convention center being across a four lane highway from the hotel could have been a mess with a foot of snow. I think having all the exhibitors in the same large room as the lunch/auction/snack activities was a great idea.
DDSM...
When is the Arkansas one?? Daughter moved to Fayetteville so...there's a good chance we'll be in Arkansas this year. B-)

"The issue of the convention center being across a four lane highway from the hotel could have been a mess with a foot of snow."
In 2007 it was held in the same location, with measurable snow, not a foot, plain old slush and slop, but me with only my tennis shoes. I had my work boots this time. As usual I would rather have the necessary equipment if needed, than not to have it.
