Does anyone have any recommendations for fully online survey programs that are accepted by the Texas board?
Are you familiar with Texas A&M - Corpus Christi? Their undergraduate program is linked here:

There is also a MS program.
Yes I have looked at it did not know it was fully online? I have also been leaning towards Great Basin.
I'd try to talk to someone at the school. Dr Richard Smith, click link to the Faculty and Staff page, would be my recommendation.
As the page linked above states, pursuing a degree by taking one or two courses a semester will take a long time.
Good luck!

I've almost completed the Great Basin program. Started in fall 2013. One more semester after this one. Already had my associates. Great program and Byron is making lots of improvementso. I recommend it. Not sure if Texas will accept. Byron should know. NM told me they would accept GBC degree.

I have a BBA degree from an accredited Texas University. I took a two survey classes to use as electives from Lone Star College and they were the only classes I took on a campus. I even took some public lands distance learning classes from University of Wyoming. You have to have 32 survey "related" hours, some of your core classes will apply to that 32.
Is that a degree in GIS? Is it ABET accredited? I see the OP is from TX, but I don't think that would be acceptable to the board in NJ.
It is in GIS and is ABET accredited.
I am starting classes at Great Basin in the spring if all goes as planned. I already have my AAS in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology. I have 20 classes to finish my BAS.
Byron has been very helpful.

I thought I read somewhere that the Great Basin program was folding? I must be mistaken.
Thought about them for years, but I don't need a BS for the states I'm licensed in.
FWIW,
I forgot to mention in the earlier post that TAMUCC has a 33-credit hour post-graduate certificate for those with bachelor's degrees (not in surveying) that meets the TX land surveying board requirements.

They did, briefly. And then they were resurrected.

My coworker, who got an associates degree at Oklahoma State, inquired at TAMUCC and they are no longer accepting new students for their online program. You can still attend on campus.

Jon,
As Mark mentioned above, they did quit accepting students for a short time after Mr. Elithorpe left, but Byron Calkins is on board and the program is going again.
I don't need a BAS for the states I am licensed in either, but it is more of a personal thing, and I want to further my understanding of some of the stuff I am doing.
