Similar here in that everything is south and everything in Nebraska is north.?ÿ Roughly half the State is west and the other half is east, so that is important.?ÿ I have looked at the index books in the county that is west which has the same numbering as my home county, which is east.?ÿ Only a true survey nerd would find that amusing.
A chord bearing and distance eliminates the guess work and is required either by code of practice or regulation in many jurisdictions.?ÿ After you read and follow a large number of descriptions you will better understand what constitutes a good descriptions.
I've read plenty of horrible legals, I started there trying to not be that bad...

@fairbanksls?ÿ Exactly. You learn what needs to be included by trying to follow a description that does not have the key data. Is the curve to the left, or the right. Is is concave north, or south.
