Other than the Compendium, are there any other sources for good reading? Seminars? I found the seminar in Raleigh, NC very helpful for the FS Exam. Thanks in advance!
It wouldn't hurt to read this at your leisure and then also not at your leisure if you could read Yiannopoulos coursebook on civil law property published by Claitors in BR.
Clif Mugnier who posts here would be a good source of info since he prepares students whose desire is to become licensed in LA.

It wouldn't hurt to know how to spell it, too.

Geezer
Rural or city arpenteur?
I have multiple editions of Skelton, Brown, Clark, Madden, Shalowitz, Estopinal, etc., but I teach primarily from the Compendium and lecture from the legal terms and concepts found in the Compendium. If you really understand everything in the Compendium, you're in good shape for the exam.
Yianopoulus is excellent for attorneys but a bit overkill for a Land Surveyor. There's two tomes by him. I once tried teaching from those, but they were too abstract for engineering/surveying students.
Being able to quote from the Compendium is not sufficient. You have to understand it.
I appreciate the information.
