We're putting on one for "Best Practices for Determining Elevations with GPS Real Time Networks" next month. We are giving it for free, and will hand out certificates for 16 PDHs.
Speakers will include myself, Professor Roy Dokka of LSU, Dave Zilkoski - past Director of the National Geodetic Survey, and a number of Geodesists with the NGS. We will also have a panel discussion on the afternoon of the last day with Q&A.
Box lunches and coffee breaks will be free, also.
Info & sign-up is at:

There'll be a reception the first evening at the J.W. Marriott on Canal Street - no free beer or whiskey, though.
Attendance is limited to 200 - first come, first served.
Nice!!!!
Seems like NOLA is the place to go for survey education this summer.
Between this and the August seminar, one could load up a licensing period worth of credits, and drink hurricanes besides.
:good:
How about an evening at the shooting range? No beer or whiskey.
Only nice range I know of is on Hickory or Dickory in Metairie - 25 yd indoor - if it's still open since Katrina. One on Power Blvd. is only 50 ft. and has one or two lanes, max.
I can ask a friend of mine and find out.
You could call it a "Hand and Eye Coordination" seminar. 🙂 😀
Dang, that would be a bargain at twice the price!
