weeee . . .
Doctor told me to get one to help me lose weight . . .
Wow!
I'm playing the tennis and it's pretty good
Only problem(that bothers me), is that I'm one of those players who use A LOT of english and wrist snapping.
I also like to hit balls AFTER they get past me . . . I reach back and flick the tennis racket forward.
Wii don't like some of the things I do.
But overall, the results are very similar as being on the court excepting, on a court everything involves 3-4 steps instead of one . . . this is good for my torn tendon.
. . . well . . . not "good", but better.

Have fun with the Wii tennis, but be forewarned that you can get tennis elbow if you're not careful.
I used to play a lot wii boxing. There is a game called "Wii Sports Resort" which is like Wii Sports but with more and different games. You need a "motion plus" controller to play it, but I think all the newer wii controllers have "motion plus". If you really want a work out, get "Just Dance" ... my daughter plays it, and I've tried to keep up, and it's exhausting.
Wii fit is pretty good, but it's all low impact.

Love that game!! Can you do the power serves yet?? B-)
I am pro now on that game and so I always get those mean bitches that whip my butt!! :-@
Love that whole game disc, actually. Still haven't been able to get a 300 on the bowling. The Sports Resort game disc is also fun!! And now I am hooked on the "Just Dance" games. That's what I was doing to lose my weight before I got my bone spur. :-/ I miss jumping around, dancing like there's no tomorrow to a TV screen. LOL!! 😀

?--- Has all 4 "Just Dance" CDs. B-) It's definitely an awesome workout!! :woot:
What I really want to do . . . in Flyover
Is to track down one of those other planes and crash into it.
It seems as I get a little too close they change direction and I lose sight of them.
I've gotten pretty good at hitting boats and cars though . . .:-@
Kinect
If you like the games on the Wii you will really like the Kinect for Xbox 360. The nice thing about the Kinect is you no longer have to hold on to a controller. The boxing is better and Just Dance on the Kinect is amazing. The only draw back to the Kinect is that Xbox wants you to pay to have Xbox live (not required) to have applications like Netflix or Hulu.

Have you ever gotten to "Lucia" in Wii Sports Resort table tennis? She's around the 1500 level. I've probably player her 50 times and scored 10 points on her ... total... I always lose 0-6 or 1-6 (if I'm lucky). Thankfully, my disc broke so I can stop worrying about it for a while. 😛

No...I get my butt KICKED on that game every time for some reason!! :-O
Wendell whomps all over me when we play it...and even on beginner I can't get very far!! :'(
But give me a REAL table tennis game and a decent paddle and I can do a bit better. B-)
Based on your comments, I bought a Wii. I play doubles tennis (for real) once a week, so I thought I might get a little indoor exercise. I am surprised how much of a work-out you can get. Pretty amazing. Thanks for the post.
