In the late 80's there was a plywood and spray paint sign at this place (South of Grant's Pass, Oregon) with the words "CRON FOR SALE". Years later when I passed by the sign was more professional but the spelling remained.

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes your sign says the opposite of what you think it says.

This is supposed to be true, but I can't remember enough details to google it.

Anway, supposedly there was a couple of college graduates a few years ago that travelled the country correcting signs. Well, it turns out that one that they corrected, in the southwest I think, was a landmark of some sort and had been there for 100 years. I also think it was on some sort of national park.
