I dialed a clients number and waited and waited and no answer and looked down and I had dialed it on my HP calculator.

It woulda been a wrong number if you had touch-typed.?ÿ Ever notice how the numbers on the keypads are reversed, top to bottom?

There's actually a reason for that.

Even more scary is that you heard it ringing... or did you?

Oh, yeah - when the rotary dial was replaced with the keypad, there was a deliberate effort to slow down the 10 key entry whiz people from overloading the circuitry at the distribution centers.?ÿ It was not a problem with the rotary dial - with its slow return rate.

Similar to why the QUERTY keyboard was set up - to slow down the manual typists, and prevent the striker levers from jamming.

Got a computer keyboard, phone with either call keypad or calculator app running, then a TSC3 all in hand.?ÿ I've punched the data wrong into all three!?ÿ Makes you feel kinda dumb when you realize what you did.

Wait, when the phone rings, you will begin to answer the tv remote and then the blue ray remote.

I rarely place phone calls, especially from my cell phone.?ÿ I often find myself waiting and waiting for a connection, only to realize I have to hit the send button for the silly thing to work.

I recently tried to open the elevator with my door key fob. Didn't work for some reason. (Sheesh!)
