Looks like weather will suk here for the optimum viewing.
Have scope ready but thunderstorm system moving into area.
Maybe tomorrow will be better for a second chance viewing.

Daryl had a nice photo a few days ago on the 'net'

If you have clear skies check it out tonight after sunset

clear sky charts

This site uses weather models and other info to predict how "clear" the sky will be at a given time. Very useful to see what you can see.

Here is a prediction for a nearby observatory:

A column of blue squares means viewing will be good.
