Our current weather conditions are about 65 F with 26.5 mph steady wind, with gusts exceeding that figure.
As I was driving along Main Street headed to the Courthouse earlier I observed Mr. Doofus hard at work.?ÿ He was slowly moving along his front sidewalk with the world's smallest, weakest, leaf blower attempting to clear the sidewalk of all leaves.?ÿ Talk about pissin' into the wind.
It helps to know that Mr. Doofus took early retirement.?ÿ Most likely his shrew of a wife was home and didn't want him within her line of sight.
And after you've had snow melt?
Yes.?ÿ The frigid blast did its thing, then left.?ÿ But, we did not warm up until yesterday so there was some lingering snow hidden in the shadowy areas.
The next few days are guaranteed to be breezy but the temps on Thursday morning may be back down to single digits after the rain, ice, snow hits us right between the eyes in the next 36 hours.
I literally laughed out loud at that...

@norm The Brits have some great ones, but they're more accepted across the pond than they are here. Two come mind: one begins with "twa" and one begins with "cun", and both get the point across extremely well, but you risk life & limb using them within earshot of a "woma"....
Our current temperature and wind speed match at 23.?ÿ Wonder if Mr. Doofus is till out with his leaf blower.?ÿ The inch of ice beneath the snow that is accumulating should make this a totally futile effort.?ÿ We were at 69 F late yesterday afternoon but our protected overnight low tonight will be down to 5 F with 2 mph wind.?ÿ So it will feel one degree colder then than right now.
Hot dammmm.?ÿ 8 F outside now and supposed to drop to 4 F.?ÿ Then up to 40 F by mid-afternoon.?ÿ Life is a roller coaster ride in the central area of the giant landmass known as North America.
