Both teams played their hearts out. A classic game of powerful defenses. Sorry Les.

It was a nail biter for sure.

My Memphis Tigers took it to the last second to win as well. They are having their best year since 2008.

Got to hand it to LSU, they played hard. A lot of respect for them.

Not fair....
Nick Satan & the Lame Kitten vs LSU freshmen team.
Bad calling the personal foul on the two YL
Then bad execution by the kicker

Just joking. It was a very good SEC game.
At least no one had any broken bones in the last minute like that kid from Ole Miss last week.

Yes, I sure hated to see that Ole Miss player go down.

I hate to see any players get hurt, irregardless of what jersey they are wearing.

Sorry, LSU. It's all my fault. I was cheering for you and wanting you to win. That was the cause of your loss. Nothing to do with anything on the field or some regular fan forgetting to wear his "winning" socks.

Hail State!

My MSU Bulldogs are still number one! We play 'Bama next week.....a home game for them.

I am a 1980 CE graduate and a part-time faculty member at the MSU Bagley School of Engineering.
History is in the making: we are 9-0 for the season and are looking hard at the SEC West championship, but the biggest obstacle in the way will be the formidable Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa. Man, oh, man.....what a game that will be !

Hail State!

HAIL STATE !!!!!!
Next week will tell the tale. If MSU is for real, then they will beat Alabama. What they have done so far is totally awesome.
I went to State in the late 60's and have followed the team ever since. For the first time in my memory, State has the depth to be able to perform in the second half. For MANY years if State did not have the game in the basket at the end of the first half, they would lose the game in the second half.
Dak Prescott may be as good as everyone says. I hope so. If Bama wins next week, it's not the end of the world, BUT I think it will end all talk about Prescott and the Heisman
My dream is the State goes undefeated and Dak gets the Heisman. That will take a ton of work, but anything is possible. Fingers and toes all crossed. Either way, it will be an awesome ride for State and all her fans!!

Roll Tide !

I was at Tiger Stadium Saturday night completely surrounded by very nice (and vocal!) LSU fans. It was a great game that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait until Saturday when I expect the Tide to "Go teach the Bulldogs to behave" as is written in the fight song. I intend to bring a State fan with me to witness the event.:-)

Hail State!

MSU is due all the praise that they are receiving. I hope they win the West and only lose to UGA in the SEC Championship. If Ga doesn't make it, I wish for MSU to be the National Champions. That will be a tall order going through Alabama. No doubt, the West is much stronger than the East this year. I am sure we will have our hand full with Auburn.

I like what Nick said right after the game: "We know how to win..." Sorry Les, but Nick is right. LSU was given several chances, but just couldn't win.

Best was that I was listening to my Cajuns win on the radio while watching LSU on the television (muted of course). 😛

Joanna Coles, editor of Cosmopolitan:

"I think that women's lives are multilayered. I have no problem understanding that women are interested in mascara and the Middle East. Men are allowed to talk about sports relentlessly and yet we still take them seriously. I don't understand why women can't talk about fashion, or sex, or love, or wanting more money and not be taken as seriously as men."
