Ogle and weep.

This most awesome, fresh, homemade maple syrup can be had by contacting Perry Williams in New Hampshire.

Mrs. Butterworth is just an old hag. She ain't got nothin' on this stuff.

Thank you, Perry!

I did that one time a few years ago... after a long day of tailgating and HOKIE football... lets just say the effect of the sugar was quite similar to that of a several REDBULLS...

I'll never do that again.

Well, he isn't RIGHT next to me. He is about 7 feet away. His desk and my desk face each other. I can peer over my monitor and throw stuff at him, harass him, give him dirty looks, etc... 😛

Usually I Skype him when I need to talk to him. For some reason I get more of a response when I Skype him instead of talking directly to him when he is busy working. Plus he usually has Vanilla on his chest and if I go over there and talk to him, she hears me and it disturbs her nap. 😐 Damn rat...Spoiled rotten!!! :-$

I wouldn't pour Maple Syrup on her then 😉 😛

When I worked in an office, me and the guy in the next cubicle communicated a lot, through e-mails......

Tell Grant and Cathy I said hey :hi5:

Cheers,
Radar

I'm thinking Perry could sellout his stock if he would put his price list and shipping fees in the proper category here.

Maple Syrple

Glad you guys are enjoying it.

Just made another two gallons this morning for a total of 101 gallons so far. Lots of warm temps in the forecast though, so the end of the season may be near. When you here the first peepers, the season is over.

Holy,

I can mail a gallon (actually two 1/2 gallons) of Grade A NH Maple Syrup to anywhere in the lower 48 for $65 . Two Quarts shipped would be $ 45. Other sizes are available.

Here's a pic. of the sugarhouse last weekend:

Perry, How does that real stuff keep?

I always get the closest thing to "real" maple syrup at our local store and I notice that it begins to crystallize around the edge of the lid after a few weeks.

Does your syrup keep for quite a while? If I were to get a gallon, I wouldn't want it to go bad after 9 months because I didn't consume it quick enough.

Well, enjoying it is putting it mildly. I decided to stick a fingertip into the cap for a quick sample after Wendell said a few choice words about Mrs. Butterworths being an old hag, made some "oohhh and ahhhh" moaning sounds, and about fainted in there from his teaspoonful taste test. I'm hoping Wendell will make his home made pancakes tomorrow so I can REALLY enjoy it!! I am very picky and I must say...even I agree that this IS the best syrup I have EVER tasted. Period. :good: :bye: :star: :hi5:

Thank you again, Perry, for sending this so fast!

Only problem I will have now is when I have "other" syrups while out for breakfast or at someone elses house, they will all be inferior!! 😛

Maple Syrple - storage

You can keep it in the freezer and just pour out what you need to a smaller container that is kept in the 'fridge. I bought one of those small spring top "pitchers" one sees in pancake houses years ago and it is still working fine.

The syrup does not freeze in the freezer, just gets a slight bit thicker.

I have to agree with the other comments, Perry makes some good syrup!

If unopened, Maple Syrup will keep for years. After opening, as Ken says, put it in the fridge or freezer. For shipping, I can ship two half gallons much cheaper than one gallon and the 1/2 gallons will fit in the fridge much easier. Also the crystals are not spoilage. They are essentially rock candy (crystalized sugar). They will form because the syrup around the lid evaporates slightly and causes the crystals to form.

Even if you forget to refrigerate the syrup, the mold that forms on the surface is not dangerous and can be scooped off and the syrup is still usable.

Perry...

Perry, I just realized something else. Buying your syrup will actually SAVE people money. How? Because once they taste yours, they will no longer want to go out to breakfast too much, and will stay home instead and cook their breakfasts so they can use your syrup instead of the restaurants "inferior" stuff!! 🙂

We just gave Dave a baby food spoon sized sample. The look on his face said it all. 😉

Have you ever entered this stuff into any syrup contests?? I truly believe you'd win the grand prize. Easily. I bet there are 1000 others that would agree with me. 😀
