My wife has a small house cleaning business and is trying to come up with a more suitable, catchy name for her business. She currently uses "Cleaning by Michelle" and asked for my help......I thought about it for a moment and told her I knew exactly where I could get many great ideas.

Thanks in advance and fire away.

Kent's generally really clever at thinking up names as I recall...but nothing really struck me. Of them all so far I kind of like "Michelle and the Mopettes".

Why Clean-o-matique in stead of "-matic" and why Mrs. Klean instead of Mrs. Clean? If I know you, you have a reason.

The White tornado, made me think of hurricanes being named from people's first names; but "Hurricane Michelle" might not deliver the best image.

Just thinking out loud. I have nothing yet.

(sorry for the mix of second-person with third-person text).

I don't know if you are using pseudonyms or if her real name consists of the initials "MC", but if it is, can she incorporate her initials into the name of the company. Like Mrs. MCCLEAN or something like that? (McShine, McMaid)

I don't know, maybe too corny.

This is slightly off topic... I was doing a topo of a McDonald's in a suburb of Washington, DC last year. I started the survey about 1:00 am (a lot easier to survey a 24 hour McD's at night!) and I was approached by a Latin woman around 4:00 am. She pulled up to me and said, "you need your house clean"? I said, "No thanks" and she followed up by handing me a business card. I tried to give the card back while telling her, "I live 4 hours away, so I will not be calling!" She then followed up with, "why don't you give me a call when you're done here tonight - I will come over and give you "good" massage!" I was embarrassed, but said thanks and went about my business. The card she handed advertises "Maria's Cleaning and Massage".

As far as your question goes, how about Michelle Maid?
