I've used a tool like that to remove the chainring gears off the rear hub of a bicycle.?ÿ Don't know what the official name for the tool was though.

No it ain't its got finger grips on it. It's really a gadget you put around an unruly kids neck so you can keep a hold on it while browsing thru WalMart.
