A couple of the wineries we visited while camping in the North Georgia mountains.?ÿ I'm not much of a wine snob, I just know what I like, and we brought home a few bottles of good wine.?ÿ The weather was great, high in the upper 70s to low 80s and the lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.?ÿ This week is a LOT hotter up there.

I just got my motorhome dewinterized and am starting to plan my first trip.?ÿ With the cost of gas, I'm keeping it in the 300 mile range as I only get about 8 MPG.
I'm looking into the water front sites on the Chesepeak Bay, Virginia side right now.?ÿ Fantastic scenery in that area, I've done it by sail boat but never by land.
Nice scenery!
I'm not sure if there are RV camping sites in St. Mary's County, Maryland, but it was a beautiful place to be stationed in the 80s & 90s. I hope to go back in the not-so-distant future.
Enjoy your touring & travel safe.
Curious if you know what variety of grapes being grown there. Have a soft spot for the native muscadine grapes grown in the region. Makes for a delicious wine.?ÿ

Most of the varietals are grown in the area.?ÿ Muscadines are grown near there but mostly further south in the state.?ÿ Most Muscadine wines are a bit sweet for my taste.?ÿ One of the wineries that we visited (Three Sisters) makes a sparkling wine made in the "Champagne" style.
