The best from Bec and I. Hang in there, Wendell, and cherish every moment.

We're keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
Best,
Dang, up until now I thought my mom was the best in the world.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers, Wendell.
Best wishes Wendell, hope it goes your way...
I very much appreciate all the support. Mom went in at 10am and we won't get to see her again until around 5pm. A counselor came in shortly before surgery and said some things that made us all feel a lot better. Then her doctor came in and said more things that made us all feel a lot better. Mom went in with a very good, positive attitude. She has been pretty nervous leading up to this, but I was happy to see her cheer up before going in. She actually seemed relieved to be getting it over with.
Thanks again to everyone! 🙂
Alex and I hope for good results.

Wendell,
My Mom had BC In 2005 and she's now 79 and doing fine.......... We must have the same mom...........the best on the planet
My thoughts are with you.
Hey....I said "up until now"....:-)
Prayers from the Ferguson Family
Joe and Jean
also, Lizzy, Kiah and Dirtbag!
You and your family will be in my thoughts
Mom is out of surgery and doctor said everything went as planned. Some tests will be conducted to determine if it spread elsewhere. She's doing good, just waking up, and will be in her own room shortly.
Woo hoo!
:good:
Of course, Wendell. Honored that you shared that with us. Will be thinking good thoughts for everyone.
You couldn't possibly have the best Mom on the planet as mine occupies that spot! Many prayers of healing and comfort to your mom and family Wendell.
:good:
Modern medicine can often work wonders.....here's hoping that your Mom's case will be one of them.
One thing to remember, especially after the surgery, keep after the staff, let them know someone is around and looking out for her interests.

Hi guys!!!
Sorry I have not been around much. I did not get on the PC at all, yesterday. I let Wendell handle that part. So glad you guys are behaving, though, while I'm not able to be here to crack my whip. :woot: B-) 😉
Last night M-I-L. did OK. Her CO2 was a bit low but they gave her oxygen and got it back up. I helped her order her dinner, prepped her coffee, checked her drains, catheter, IVS, etc... and get a bit coherent. They tried to get her up to walk but she got really sick and dizzy and in pain and so we put her back in bed and they gave her medicines. Then she zonked out.
Right now we are sitting here in her hospital room with her...everything is going good!!! This morning, she is MUCH better; she had her breakfast, coffee, went for a long walk, went pee and will get to go home later on today!! YAY!! She's anxious!! haha :snarky:
Anyhow, that is the latest. I'll be at the house with her today/tonight so I'll be able to get online more later for more updates. But all is well and will continue to be. Thank you all for your kind thoughts, prayers, etc... We truly appreciate it. :-$

I'm hoping they got all the cancer before it spread.
Here's to a full recovery.
