Here you go all you aging baby-boomers. A real life (misspelled) "Camero", 1968 vintage barn find. Reported to be all original with 120k on the clock.
If you're thinking you need to drain your IRA of about 40K so you can have a slick Chevy worth 25K...here's your chance!
$16,500 isn't unreasonable; it's more than I'd pay for a car that needs a complete restoration. It would be a shame to see that go to anyone who isn't going to do one on it.

I agree it's a good one to start on. I think the ad said something about one owner. Whether he can get 16k for it is to be seen.
He says its all original, then he lists all the parts that have been replaced and the engine has been rebuilt. Not really all original is it?
I'm an original but I have a couple parts that weren't there when I was born.
Never should have sold my 1969 Z. Just got tired of replacing the clutch.
It's funny how reality can crash into your aspirations; for some reason I saw this on the internet one day:
I helped a guy do some modifications to one wayyy back when I worked in a shop and I figured it would be cool to own one.
Then I saw what the asking price is and all thoughts of that vanished immediately.
220+k gulp!!!

That gives new meaning to your avatar.o_O
The wife and I were contemplating how many of my first few cars it would take to retire. Sure makes me wish I'd taken better care of them...

My dad has a '65 fastback mustang retromod that he'll sell you today that runs and drives with a 346 Jasper Racing motor in it with 10k on the motor, if you're really interested. It needs very little if anything, he's just past that point in his life. East Texas isn't that far from you and will surely make the trip back to South LA. 🙂
I always wanted a jeep. Well and a muscle car but a jeep first. My baby girl wanted a jeep. My baby girl got a jeep and she doesn't turn 16 for 120 more days. Guess who's driving the jeep?

The way things have been for the last year or so I'm afraid I'm in no position to buy a toy right now. Hopefully that changes soon.
This is as good a place as any to advertise:
Even though I'm not a 4 wheel fan, if anybody knows the whereabouts of any 1965 Chevelle SS396 (Z16 option)..let me know. Only 201 manufactured and some estimate that less than half may have survived. Keep your eyes peeled kiddies...thar's gold in them there hills.

My 1987 MR2 is sittin' under the carport waiting for a motor rebuild. Been saying "some day" for 12yrs...
Ah..the ol' carport.
In a former life I had a 1972 MGB under a carport for almost ten years. Although it ran well, the 283 C.I. Chevy V8 that had been shoe-horned under the hood kept pulling motor mounts off the frame and eating clutch plates. My big dream was to beef the frame and in$tall a turbo-400 automatic tranny. The body and frame mods would have been extensive. I eventually traded it for a T-120 Triumph Bonneville. That was the last "car" I had around just to play with. Good thing...I might have hurt myself with that thing.
One of my acquaintances way back in the day had a Sunbeam Tiger. It would eat a Camaro SS's lunch. Chevelles & Mustangs, too.
Interesting history on the Tiger. Leave it to Chrysler to screw up a good thing.

Weren't those Shelby's "baby Cobras"? He would stick a V8 in anything that rolled back then. A Sunbeam Tiger would probably bring a pretty penny nowadays.
Sunbeam Tigers for sale. No thank you.
