Well it looks like Murphy's Law befell the Cubs. amazing numbers for a 2B player.
Didn't think it will be a sweep but so be it.
Cubs took a psychic giant step by defeating the Cards and didn't bring it to the Mets yet.
Still a young team with a good manager.
Can the Mets keep it going ....

Still AT LEAST one more game to go (hopefully more).
It ain't over, till it's over...
It could be all over for the Cubs tonight.
Let's Go Met's, the Amazing Met's, Dad was a HUGE Met's Fan, took me to my first MLB game, the Met's when I was a kid.
What a thrill to go down to NYC, and Shea Stadium!!
B-)

Daddy, a lifelong Cardinals fan, grew to hate Tim McCarver because he constantly said, "Amazing Mets!".
If I had my druthers, both teams would lose this seies, but the Mets are the lesser of two evils. All these Cubs fans coming out of the woodowork is completely obnoxious.

Hey, you gotta knock the dust off the fans every 100 years or so.
As soon as the playoffs began, I realized I might have a slight problem.
After all, how can you not root for a team that hasn't won the WS since 1908 and hasn't even been there since 1945.
Although I am a NY fan, it wouldn't be so bad if the Cubs went all they way.....kind of like the Red Sox in 2004.
The Cubs have a great team, and really deserve a shot at the World Series.
It doesn't look good for them right now, but even if they lose this series, they are young and they will be back.
I'm a lifelong Cub fan and I'm not the type to "come out of the woodwork". That said, I think the Mets have a slight edge at this point.

Didn't say you were.
But there are scores of people down here that have decided they are die hard Cubs fans and two weeks ago they thought you scored touchdowns in baseball.
