I'm not overly squeamish about snakes, but those monsters can stay in Florida!
They shouldn't have been removed from their native rain forest. [edit] ...but I'd like to get a pair of boots made from its hide!
@kevin-hines But then there couldn't have been that short period of time where someone felt "special" because they had a pet that made them think they were cool before they got tired of it and moved on to the next trend.

As soon as the pythons eat everything moving in the Everglades and Raccoons are on the extinct list Florida will wise up and place a substantial bounty on them to make it profitable to snake hunters. But that probably would not work anyway. I think the pythons are here to stay. ?????ÿ

They just turn 'em loose after they ate the family cat or dog. ?????ÿ
@flga-2-2?ÿ
The State should have somehow regulate those critters regarding the disposal of those "pets" after they have eaten the family dog. Its probably too late now since so many have been released in the Everglades. They should gather all of those "special/cool" individuals mentioned by @jon-payne, and have them trudge the swamp until they recover five for every one they released. If they are eaten by a gator or one of the pythons that was illegally released into the wild, oh well, karma's a b***h. But the boots would look great.

Great idea, however the people releasing the snakes wouldn't last 5 minutes in the Everglades. They would die of fright. ?????ÿ
Where is that ??dislike? reaction button?
What part do you dislike, the conservation efforts to keep invasive species introduced into an eco system regulated or the harsh punishments for the offenders?
@kevin-hines gee whiz.

I do apologize KH. ?ÿHumor fails to come across to me in text format sometimes. ?ÿI get it now.
I am glad I delete a lot of replies before actually posting.
Good one. ?ÿCarry on.

Ummm....."Beta Boy" u no dam wel wher it at. ?????ÿ
Don't make boots from the hide.?ÿ That encourages the babies to come looking for Mama at your house.
That would mean I could get a matching belt & hat band....
My first thought was "man, that'd make a lot of boots". I had a pair of cowboy boots once made from some kind of python (they were totally black, not patterned like that one) one of the most comfortable pair of boots I ever owned.
I sure as heck wouldn't mind a new pair.
Ecologically, Florida's native wildlife is pooched.?ÿ
